I know that whatevers hanging from that boom is oveloading the boom and I dont see a craine assisting or straps wraped around the pole, hose,Whatever. My question is what are they pumping down there?

looks like a lack of choice. can't set up a bigger pump up top and no room for a crane. it's a bummer to have to do it, but it looks to me like the main section is bearing the load. sometimes you got to do jobs that suck.

Lack of choice?
What about some sling or straps and anchor it to the rock someway?

If it is the German waterpark in Texas. The name of it is Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, 30 miles south of Austin, Tx. I might know whose pump that is but will get a deffinate answer before throwing a company name out there.

pUMPNOOB- are you gonna climb up that rock and drill holes for bolts, attach each hose and then attach it all to the boom? if you don't feel safe, don't do the job. no one holds it against you. but don't bitch if you see someone else doing it. like i said, some jobs just suck.

Just did it, 150+ metres of line down a mountain side, about 100+ metres height difference.
But that was for a 1000+ cubic metres pour so...
And yeah, I don't bitch about stuff, I just see a solution. I'm not paid to point out the problem to the customer, he knows what wrong most of the time.

there's a difference between a mountain side and a rock face. but kudos to you brother.

I would be more interested in the story rather than who.

Same here many.

it would not be that hard to secure the hose to the rock face.  Genie Telescopic Boom or JLG.  work smarter not harder.
