does anyone know of any pro's or con's , when mounting a concrete pump on a truck via either splitter box (splitshaft) or live (engine) drive?

speedy im referring to the way schwing mounts their boom pump particullay 34x im having drama's with choosing a truck manufacture for my new pump because some manufactures dont have engine drive pto's, so i have to resort to a split shaft system which requires a splitter box so i was trying to see if there any pro's or cons between the two |

yeh over here schwing oz they prefer to put them on merc's actros, because it has engough power to use engine drive but truck is very expensive, thats why i asked the question |

hey vasa , im still trying to decide whethewr i want to go leaf springs or airbag i was told by truck dealer , that if i go airbags , that when i switch to pto mode, they will make switch to dump airbags , because if i raise wheels off ground i will damage airbags , what is your opioinon
also do you think in bogey situations leaf springs are better then airbags? |

bogey is like , muddy or minium traction slippery conditions when you say it switch into pto and air is evacuated doesnt the pump sit lower to the ground then? if so then outriggers get closer to ground and make it harder to put timber underneath? |
