Pudg is that the stuff that smells like almonds? I tried something new that did and it worked great, but expensive.  Used hydraulic oil for me.

Used HydroOil-N-Diesel.  Works great.  Pudg, I think it's great you're thinking of the environment!  I've only had a couple folks concerned about the contents of the spray oil I'm using.  I've found that people will believe anything you tell them if you do it with a straight face.

"It's a blend of peanut-oil and bio frendly lubricants."

   : l      <--------   Straight face...very important.

If you find yourself in a tight spot on enviromental issues, carry a can of Pam with you, works great when you cannot use petro products.

Try a vegetable oil base and it will turn in to tar, scrub, scrub, scrub, never again.I like pudg's idea for those special applications.

Pudg, I've used "Romix" for a few years now, I love it! No smell, no color and works awsome! I've only had 1 bad experience with it,.. Before taking a weeks vacation in July, I sprayed the entire assend of my pump. My pump never left the yard during my time off and the hot sun baked the romix into brown goo that took a week of scraping to remove!

Bob, Come on now... Biggest Bullshitter? You know I like to deliver my bullshit @1800 rpms at full volume? However, he IS super sneeeeeaky!?!?
