I am getting tired of making another richer while I work my ass off just to get by. Don't get me wrong, I make Damn good money, but nothin like a buisness owner. I want to make the Real Big Bucks. I just don't know how to get it going. Meaning, getting the financing for one,and making the transition from working for someone else to working for myself. I know there are people out there who have done it,If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

As an owner/operator, of a 1 pump company, I would have to wonder just what your perception is of how much is left over [after all expenses] out of every $100 that your pump bills out?

The true answer to that question should scare you.

The "when" of buying a pump is also a real factor. Just my opinion, now is not the "when"

I started my company 2 years ago , it's been quite a learning experince in so.cal. you need a motor carrier permit , a ca.number then you have to join the b.i.t. program 400 for 1 truck per year , you need a d06-c61 specialty contractors license 450 for that putting tags on a new pump aint cheap the sales tax for a new 36 meter or so alone is 40 grandthen general liability ins.over 20grand a year seperate ins. for the boom (inland marine)and  regular motor veh. ins. I incorperated  thats 800 a year to the state ,biz license only 50 aint even put any fuel in it yet or a pump payment then you wait 3-6 months to get your money. yep real easy to do call me I'll fill you in 909 229 9157 if you get used pump you better be a good wrench cause your fleet wrench aint there no more it's all on you selling billing collecting pumping wrenching standing in dmv lines hunting parts down . still i would risk my home career  my credit all over again
