I am looking at jumping the ditch to Australia (from New Zealand) in early 2011. Just wondering how i would go at getting a job either operating or as a hoseman, ive heard that i need to get a ticket? to be able to do the job over there. so any advice would be appreciated. Ive been in the game for 3 years and have 2 years experience in operating a boom pump and trailer grout pump

What part of aus are you moving to? In Vic you need an industry induction card (red card) which you can get from work safe! Also you will need a high risk licence for the boom, i can give you the number for the assessor we use if your coming to Melb!

Where can i find more info on this high risk license? And do you know whats involved in changing my driving license over? i currently have my class 5 which is the highest class in nz. Cheers
