Do you have a problem with pumping glass fiber concrete? Thanks. |

Pump fiber all the time, course and fine. A few things I have noticed about it...when pushing it out around 250' it starts to seperate from the mud and comes out in "sticks" of nothing but the fiber. The fiber also sucks up the water something feirce. Problems... not really, just watch your system and keep that stuff moving. |

I've been using fiber even before the price of steel went up, even on stucco jobs. My concrete supplier calls me Tommy Fibermesh. It definitely requires more water. |

My pump don't like it, high pressure in hydraulic(around 300 bar) and don't go. :( |

High pressures will absouletly screw up pumping with fiber. Find a way to lower your pressures... or use more steel. From what I understand, fiber is supposed to deter surface spalling and small asthetic cracks. Can fiberglass even come close to steel in tinsel strength? My advice is if your machine doesn't like to pump it, try fooling with the mix design a bit if possible, superplastizer, sand, cement, flyash etc. Better yet unless it is for asthetic purposes, don't use it. |

I pump fiber all the time. Neever a problem, except the extra time wahing out, getting all the fiber off of the grate. Sucks up the water if the trucks have been waiting long. |
