Hello all, sometimes (and thats to often) my older schwing will stay in reverse when you flip it to reverse to stop the pump. What is the likely cause?? Yes I\'ve put a bungie on it when it acted up. |

Could be a number of things but the first thing I would do is take the electricity away from the control valve.Use it manually and see if it still goes in to reverse. With the elec. alleviated from the control valve you will be able to tell if it is an electrical or hydraulic problem.Sometimes the electric solenoids on top of the control valves go haywire, start simple. |

Don\'t think it\'s electrical- switches into forward and reverse by remote and by hand fine. Valve appears to stick in reverse and has to be manualy returned to center-instead of automaticly returning to center. Switch left if reverse imposable to return to neut. switch in neut. couple pounds (or less) of pressure will move to center. Speedy maybe more often when cool, if it doesnt do it early in pour it wont do it at all. Below 50 is cool, remember im in Fla. |

Take apart the control valve and see what is happening inside. |
