JLS Concrete Pumping Takes delivery of the Second 70Z-Meter.

Always at the forefront of the industry, Putzmeister continues its tradition of innovation with the 70Z-Meter. In 1983 Putzmeister introduced the then world’s largest truck-mounted concrete boom pump, the 46-Meter, in Los Angeles, CA. The many critics thought it could not be done, and here we are 26 years later in the same position, with a road-legal Juggernaut leading the way.

Associated Concrete Pumping of Sacramento, CA, is the very proud owner of the first 70Z. After the second 70Z appeared at the World of Concrete 2009 in Las Vegas, JLS Concrete Pumping (JLS) of Ventura, CA, took delivery of the unit.

JLS has already had the world’s largest truck-mounted concrete boom pump on about four different jobs, taking advantage of the unit’s innovative technological features. Including, Putzmeister’s exclusive Ergonic® technology, a boom with over 227 feet of vertical reach and nearly 213 feet of horizontal reach, and the One-Sided Support (OSS) outrigger system, to name a few.

“With the 70Z, Putzmeister continues to take concrete pumping and placement to the extreme by providing the technological features that always put our customers first,” says Putzmeister America president and CEO, Dave Adams. “The industry has been patiently waiting to learn more about the 70Z and see it in action on job sites.

That would be the World's Largest Trailer mounted pump! What's the price on that thing...10 dollars a pound?  Concord 65m... 2 dollars a pound... any questions?

You get what you pay for. With a Putz or Shwing after 10 years you still have a great machine!

Pointless getting into a battle of the brands here (we all have our loyalties)... but one thing to consider is that the price per meter of boom ratio is hardly a linear curve. The difference in manufacturing/engineering cost between a 32M and a 40M meter boom pump, proportionally is a drop in the bucket compared to what is needed to go from say a 63M to a 70M... And for the record... You may want to change that decal to read "largest truck mounted boom pump in North America"... doesn't Sany make a 66M overseas?........

Sany also says thier has the highest output 200m/3 but Concord does 225m/3

not sure how much faith I would put in any manufacturers advertised output numbers, those are simply theoretical values based on cylinder volume (at 100% fill ratio) and stokes per minute, not taking into account the resistance/pressure created by pushing concrete through 60+ meters of pipe....

Love it. And will do until Schwing come out with their version of Putz's EBC and other stuff.
And doesn't Sany have a 72?

that's right... forgot about that one, and it's mounted on a six axle straight truck in the pic. Anyone know what the weight is on that thing?
