I had posted a while back asking for tips on getting a better seal/longer life out of my swivel gaskets. I found these through the local Putz. dealer and have been extremely pleased so far. and at less than $5 each (for the insert only) the price is right. The insert fits into recessed groove of a standard swivel gasket. I'll try and get a part # to post soon..

I have tested these in my pump. It looks like great working shit, but it doesn't work as supposed. I tried with grease, and without. Don't bother..

you may think I'm crazy but the wax ring for a toilet works great, really need to try this you can get them for $5 and it extends the life considerably.

Thanks for sharing 16 C, I've never seen those. My tip elbow is always stiff.

The gaskets you can get from Conforms already have the lip in the center, we have no problems with those gaskets at all;

we started using the gaskets on our 4 section Z booms at the swivel point between sections 2 and 3 as we could never seem get a good, lasting leak free seal regardless of which gasket was used (and we tried them all). it's been six months since switching to these and we have had great results with them so far.

WE are not using this seal also we dont have any problem without it

Shady Rashed how do you keep your tip elbow loose? Grease it weekly?

finally got around to getting a part from the Putz. dealer #... the hollow gasket is: 055559001 and the blue insert is: 457717. Hope you enjoy the same positive results with these gaskets that I have.
