Every time I see mention of outrigger pads (cribbing) I chuckle.  The owner of this TB-200 has a LOT of crane experience.  The pads he built are steel, about 2 meters square and weigh about 2 tons each.  There is no place on the pad where internal webbing doesn't support the crane pad, in case he is slightly off center.

Overkill?  He says not.  The carrier is from a 220 ton crane, and the pad loads can be extreme. 

How do you move them?  Dozers, cranes, boom trucks or whatever. 

Doesn't the contractor complain?  Not if he wants production without incident.
