I received my new line pump last week.  Two jobs this week with it already.  First one, 7.5 hours at 150 an hour door to door = $1125.  Second one 6 hours at 150 an hour door to door = $900.  Not including tax, insurance, fuel, and I'm excluding labor in my calculations here but still...

Line Pump payment 1400, truck 600.  I paid for the pump in two days, pumped 13 Yards total and barely burned a few gallons of diesel.

My 34 Meter which I pay upwards of $6000 a month for, people complain when I charge $1300 for the day up to 100 yards free travel.

WHY WHY WHY should I be able to make more money with a pump that costs 1/4 the amount of the other one??????

guess thats why lines are called trailer hors, whats gets better is when you have two units available for the same time frame the customer knows he can get service.

Well we are in a super competetive area, many pumps but all busy. The rates suck. But sharp pencil and smart operations, we may profit. We are ready mix and pumps.Hard to explain, but we jacked the rate this year and sat around a bit, then the others are starting to follow.

Line pump was 115per hr Canadian dollar. 3.5 hr minimum, thats cheap. I hate to show our rates, they are getting better, 95% of our mud is pumped.
