And just think he done it with a pump ,don't take this wrong but a Tele Belt works good with stiff mixes, I own a pump but I will be the first one to say a belt blows a pump away on stiff concrete.

Good pictures, but I question the engineering behind this foundation. If the foundation was not sloped in that manner, but flat, how much more concrete would it take?,plus you would have more "anchor" for this tower.Looks like alot of wasted work, bent re-bar,sloped concrete, angles.Guess we have to keep those REMF's busy.

Yeah, those belts have there place allright.Problem is nobody has really seen what they can do.

I would be reall supprised if there wasn't a caisson in the center.

crete was not that stiff about a 4 in slump but it was very sticky 40% fly ash

why does it need more concrete, are you in the ready mix business,do you know if there is pilings or drill shafts under the foundation, sounds like alot of speculation off a few pics, jsut my opinion we pump what they want us to dont question engineering unless its on our equipment ? just my view.I think the op said 300 and somethin yds thats a pretty good anchor.

belts are best for wind work. more volume with tighter mixes no boom bounce no outrigger pads no need to wash out if you have to wait for concrete.  my lil brother can move his belt from one base to the next in 8 min. fold up riggers up move set up and mud going in to the next base faster than the crew can pick up there tools and gets to the next one
