I have had some speeding tickets when i was younger. I was not very smart when i first got my drivers license. I Have had 4 speeding tickets and 3 driving with no license. I had one just not on me. Will this affect me if i ever have to find another job operating a pump. I don't think I will ever need to, but I was just curious....

Good thing you work for your Dad! I am pretty sure you could be considered HIGH RISK?

Find a union pump company, where you only operate the pump, and a teamster driver drives the pump to the job.

What unions throughout the country operate like that? Where a teamster drives the pump to the job and an operator runs the pump? Interesting I haven't heard that before.  Here in NJ a union operator both drives and operates the machine.

Yes sir, it was a pump we were going to purchase from a guy in town but we decided to go with a 42 instead. Vista Ridge sent a guy up here a week or two ago to train an operator from the other pump company in town, you know who it was??

To answer the question John, Here in Ca moving violations like speeding, etc. are removed from record after 3 yrs. I don't know about other states. DUI's and reckless stays on for 7 yrs. So I guess it depends how long it's been since the last violation. You can go to DMV and request a copy of your driving record to be sure.

Another thing that totally sucks in Ca is that if you have a CDL you cannot have a ticket removed from your record by going to traffic school! Even if your driving Mom's mini-van at the time of violation. Talk about a double standard!
