To Everyone That:

  1. Has “been there & done that”
  2. Got the tee shirt
  3. Wore out the tee shirt
  4. Remembers how stupid it used to be
  5. Is glad that they are a concrete pumper
  6. Is ready to help someone else

I need some help with a project. You are the only people that can help. The pay is $0.00 but the satisfaction that you can feel from helping someone is PRICELESS.

We have lots and lots of new and near new operators out there that for whatever reason were never fully trained. There are operators that would like to know what is going on but can’t get the people, usually experienced operators and managers, to spend the time helping them. They just need someone that cares and is willing to donate some time and knowledge to further their understanding of what it is we do.

So If you fit the bill I need your help.

Everyone has heard the term ‘Mentor’ and knows what it is. Well, that is what I am hunting. I am looking for some ‘old pros’ that are willing to pay it forward; to help someone like you were never helped. Perhaps when you started there were few people that really knew which way it was supposed to be. You probably learned the hard way. Don’t you think that it would be nice to make the correct information more accessible to the next generation?

Many of the people I need are management personnel now. I hope you have not forgotten where you came from. I hope that you remember how hard it was. Some, perhaps many of you are running big sticks today and are ‘above’ all of that. I ask that you give some rookie, or maybe he isn’t a rookie, just an operator that could benefit from your experience and professional knowledge. Come on, you know you can help. Will you?

These young men need someone to ask the why – how – when questions that they cannot ask someone in their own company. They are viewed by more senior people in their company as competition; you know what I am talking about. If they asked the wrong question it would turn into a “locker room” joke. It isn’t a joke to them.

If you are one of these people, think about this for a while; seriously. There is a time in the near future when all of this will make more sense to you. If you don’t help then this whole program will just be a dream. Please, think about it.

Thank you  ;~)

Todd feel free to e-mail me. I would defintaly like to be apart of this. I'm willing to help in any way I can.  I agree we need to "pay it foward".  If it saves on injury or God forbid a life then it's worth it.  Like I tell all my traniees, the only stupid question is the unasked one
