...that there is a link on this site that employers use to basically rate their operators. and that potential employers can use this on wheter or not to hire a guy. if this is indeed the case it should be noted that we as operators can use something like this against these guys in a lawsuit for slander. now, your policy is to immediately take down any post made by us that disparages companies and or sponsors. i feel that we deserve the same treatment. by law a previous employer is only allowed to give the dates of employment and duties performed. no more. no less. thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Todd, why dont you put topics with "hits" or mega responses and keep them at the top of your site? why does a non topic push a topic down?

and to dick tracy; regardless of how well you do your job some guys just don't like you on a personal level and will make your time under them a living hell. enough so that you want to leave no matter what. and in a depressed job market it's tough to get a steady gig. the old adage about there being more pumps than operators is no longer the truth. nowadays some companies will hire any jackass off the street with a commercial driver's license. so if someone is talking shit about you to potential employers, it is a big deal.

If there was a secret link on THIS SITE, it would be for the operators to judge the employers.

We think that operators are the back bone of the industry and everyone's first line of defense against job site stupidity.

The new employer is REQUIRED by law to call your past employers and receive from them results of your old DOT drug testing and inquire of your safety record. When you go to work for someone new they should, by law, require you to sign a paper authorizing the release of that information. If that is not being done then your new employer, not you, is in violation of that DOT requirement.
