How many Putzmeister TK70 pumps have been sold and operational in Australia? Have you spoken to an operator? It's better to truck mount a pump as you will need water and air. Rego is 10% as against the cost of a suitable truck to tow a TK70. What about operating costs? Check out wear plates & ring costs as well as piston cups. |

Really an easy decision. The Schwing. |

I personally would go with the Schwing over a Putz for one big reason, Schwing supports this industry by supporting this web page. If the choice is between Putz and Schwing please buy a Schwing and make sure you thank them for so much industry support and for supporting ConcretePumping.com |

everybody wants to get away from the surge why!! that surge will help you pull that hose back and if surging to much slow down or tie the hose down |

What's up with a Transcrete? Your in Queensland, Transcrete has support in two location, they pump smooth and are low cost operational machines. Possibly $15K better priced. Do your homework, how many M'Benz or BMW taxi do you see ....... Ford or Holden, because the passanger only pays on the meter. Pumping is the same, they only pay the market rate, be it a $8,000.00 scrap bin special or a $ 100,000.00 Huncrete. I'll put a $1,000.00 bucks up that a Transcrete rated at 50M3 will out pump a Schwing or Putz with the same rated output. And be much smoother. Give me a call and I will give you a good pump.

If I wanted a trailer pump in OZ, I would get a Transcrete; no second choice!!! |

Somebody give me the names of trailer and boom pumps that don't bounce or surge at full speed???? |

If the guy lived in Wisc' I would say Putz. If he lived in Minn' I would say Schwing. If he lived in the West US - Reed is the winner. The guy is in OZ.... Transcrete is a MUST DO DEAL. Close to the source is good ;~) |

I have to agree with Bob. Geographics are important. If you have local dealers, check them out. Ask them for references and talk to their customers. Part of the costs in pumps is freight/shipping to the dealer location, and then to you. Some pumps have been inflated in price and the sales people play with your head by trying to scare you into buying their pump because it is the best. No one makes a bad pump. It comes down to a couple of things. Quality, price, and service. There are several pump manufacturers out there. I would look into who is the closest to you. |
