Hello! My name is Mike and I am a 28 year mechanical veteran. Although I am currently employed outside of the pumping industry, its not where I want to be! Let me tell you a little bit about myself. 46 years old with 3 kids grown and on their own. Working on wife number two.(Women are like a fine Italian sports car.....they require constant maintenance) Of course, I mean this in the best way possible! I have all of my own tools and will travel anywhere if the money and the job is right for me. I have a passport. My experience ranges from automotive and light truck with some time spent working on small boats. Over the road tractor trailers. I have a class A license which includes air brake, doubles and triples and tanker and public passenger endorsements, and a current D.O.T. physical and a clean driving record. I am heavy duty truck certified and Schwing level II certified. I am also forklift safety certified and have numerous automotive certifications with General Motors and with ASE. My concrete pump experience is limited to SCHWING and my Belt experience limited to PUTZ 105's. Merli Concrete Pumping in Vegas was my last concrete pump repairing place of employment. When hired in, I was placed with a co worker who turned out to be a good friend and an outstanding mentor. 28 meter boom with a gate all the way to 58 meter booms. Freightliner, Volvo, Mack and TOR were what we worked with. A great work experience that I now regret leaving......but at the time, my dad needed my help and I felt that I had to leave. While employed at Merli, I was issued a take home service truck and was on call 24/7. Company phone and fuel card too. We worked hard and we played hard too. Great bunch of people!!!! Anyway, I've probably said too much, but how else is anybody gonna get to know anybody on this site unless people start talking and posting some pics, etc. Now, I said all that to say this.........I need a job! |
