Isuzu npr-hd with either a flat bed with some stakes, or a drop side mason dump. Plenty of power and lots of room for pipe, hose, accesories, and water. Best part is it is very compact and turns tighter than most cars. Only drawback is no 4x4 though I do believe mitsubishi makes a 4x4 model. |

All humor aside, Be sure to properly match the truck with the pump you plan on pulling. Dont over kill with a large HD truck to pull a smaller single axle trailer pump. It will waste fuel and hose, pipe, clamps etc. does'nt weigh as much as it appears to. The water tank will weigh nearly as much as the system (hose/pipe). On the flip side dont under power and over load your self with a light duty, economy truck and a large dual axle trailer pump, or you wont be able to stop! Unless you are trying to pull a hill. Stay with a short wheel base for maneuverability. Dont get too fancy with whatever bed you choose because sooner than later you will end up wanting your trailer pump mounted ON the truck rather than towing it. Oh and dont get cheeky with the water tank, you will need every drop. You can always drain water to reduce your load if needed. However you cannot put 100 gallons in a 50 gal. tank? |

Now back to humor... You can always find a Bad Boy International that may outlast many operators and owners. But you cant carry much hose and only a couple 5 gal. buckets of water. Thats being "cheeky" with the water. Then you have to wash out like this > |

nonsense u can always weld a rack to carry all ur hoses, and a milkcrate in the passenger will hold all the clamps u need, and as for water u can always rely on using the ready mix trucks water, they always have plenty,,lmfao
