Pretty cool show! Footage from a NY city highrise/placing boom project. Shows the entire concrete process from the plant through the pump to the pour.

The one I watched the pump was plugged and they blew down 49 stories in the street and blasted a laborer with the rabbit. No kidding!

I personally liked when the camera was in the mixer drivers truck near the end. When he was honking at some driver for cutting him off. All the bleeps sounded like a heart moniter. And the double end hose was nice too, you think for tv. that would have come off

who was the pump company?

you would think in nyc osha would be all over companies for that kind of thing. especially on a huge project like that one. they even interviewed a safety coordinator and nothing was said about that steel tip. people are never going to get it. my boss straight up told me he would hang a 5 to 4 reducer pipe off a 5" hose all day long if that's what the customer wanted. how can you explain to someone who's been in the business 17 years that that is retarded? too many people in this business are not humbled enough before these powerful machines.

I could'nt believe the fella hooked up a blow out cap to the double ender tip hose for blow down!

Seemed to me like the labor foreman was running the show down stairs. He was slumpin & pumpin & pluggin & bitchin... They never did specify exactly what or even where the blockage was. But they blew it down in the street and some how restarted without any grout or primer???

I actually almost turned it off because of the narrator, couldn't stand the dude. But my 6-year-old wanted to finish watching it, so we did. I had to restrain myself from yelling at the TV a few times. He made it sound like the concrete would be completely hardened in 90 minutes. Then he made it sound like that dude was going to be fired for having his load timed out, even if it was because of traffic and a pump clog.

Next time I'll watch it on mute, and see if its better.
