Keep in mind the Annual Indianapolis 500 Race is this weekend (Memorial Day Weekend), and Allison is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year.  Another Fun Fact, Allison Transmission's founder along with founder of Fisher (GM) body company were co-founders and developers of the "World Famous Indianapolis 500 Race Track".

I recently particiapted in a group factory tour, followed by a ride & drive demonstrating the performance of Allison's automatic transmission compared with semi-automated and/or manual shift type transmissions.  Acceleration, (i.e., driving efficiency), mobility (i.e., startability) on grade is very impressive in the Allison equipped vehicles, each demonstrated in this new video, https://youtu.be/mgKc2B7Zhqs.
