one of my customers that I have been doing business with for about 5 years is doing a job within maybe 2 miles of our shop made a couple trips to talk to the superintendent alls good, see him eating lunch the other day and go talk to him, at which time I am told that C&C is gonna do the job and this is why 32m 100 per hour $2 per yd 36 110 per hour 2 per yard 47 135 per hour 2.50 per yard 61 225 per hour $4 per yard 4 hour minimum on all truck customer responsible for permits, how do you even justify driving 150 miles at the least with these kind of prices ? why would you even want to ? why would you come in and screw up a market that has already taken a beating ? Word of advice to contractors " do not bother calling me at 2am when there pump doesnt show up, is broke down, there operator is terrible, there operator laughs when a pipe blows and sends someone to the hospital, dont waste your minutes on your cellphone call Pepe' or whatever his name is and see if he can get you another pump in route"I usually do not wish bad on anyone , but C&C you are starting a war that you cannot win. |

if you run a pump at these prices, something has to give, usually it's the maintenance, so I think sooner or later it will catch up, by pumps breaking down on jobs, pumps not showing up,etc...,(which btw happened to us, so we got the customer back), I think you will be back on this job, charging rates you need to charge (or more). Correct me if I am wrong, but If I rememebr right, a C&C pump burned down, because lack of brake maintenance? Keep your phone on, the late night call could be worth double pay for you. |

We do alot of line pumping in the Kalamazoo MI area and we charge $460.00 four hour min $3.00 a yard plus travle. Now there is some guy coming down from north of Grand Rapids (70 miles away) and taking jobs for $350.00 flat rate. No travle no yardage nothing just 350. Also he is coming with a two man crew and they are running the end of the hose. |

Thats C&C Concrete Services, Chris Holdorf, not Pepi. Get your facts straight. Maybe you should do a little research and find out who your competition is. Might make you a better salesman. |

Mr. Beast! First all should use their real names, it is easy to talk when you hide behind a screen name. You should not be allowed to comment unless your email shows and it is verified. I guess someone else has enough correct knowledge and has already told you that my C&C does not have any pumps there or do work there. I can see why you think those rates are low but we have rates as low as $70 + $1 from other companies where we have pumps. Would love to have you as competition in my area so we could both make money and provide good service. In another comment i also saw another know it all that we don't maintain our pumps and that's why a 61m burned. Bad luck, maybe a careless driver that didn't notice a blow out?? We are not perfect but we have great people, hold records for biggest pours, tallest buildings, etc which some of you don't even know that exist and that we are very proud of. Anyways, wish all of you in the concrete pumping industry lots of health good pours, higher rates, that competitors don't steal your employees, that competitors don't ake your clients by cutting your prices, and lots of luck. Let's all go to the Dallas seminar, get educated, and charge for the great service that concrete pumping is.
