Hello everyone, One of my putzmeister boom pumps is pumping ok but at the end of a job when sucking back it finds it impossible to sucking a clean out ball back, ive checked the gaskets along the boom all seems in good condition no leaks, could it be the piston cup's? Anyone had this problem, any ideas how to rectify this problem Thanks for any help. |

very well could be cups or cutting ring issues , I have also had issues on the swing out 90 orings. also check the spacer ring it is seated in the hopper that seals to the face of the swing out 90 for buildup. |

Did your water box have lots of water in it? Most of the time it is an issue with mudcups or cutting rings. Just remember, you just cant crank down the cutting ring. It may pump fine with water when you tighten it but it could seize up when pumping concrete. |

Here is a tip I found with my putz z boom when I go to suck the balls back after pumping if there is concrete in the 3 section and trying to suck the balls back is pretty hard on the pump I find. The pump is fighting gravity to pull that concrete up the pipe. So what o |
