ok wtf was that blowout cap lol , is that normal ?? what about doing the clip up and putting saftey pins in it ... or maybe they couldnt do it up because the rubber is looks like something i used to do burn outs on when i was 18. Is that a normal blowout cap used in the states , we have pressure relese valves and pressure guages on the cap you can just about make the sponge fall out the other end with a bit of practise! |
||
Bear | 02-28-2009 | reply profile send pm notify |
No thats not a normal blow out cap. It looked more like a garden hose. And the cap not like any I have seen at least not on any pump I have ever run |

does your reqular air system on your truck have the volume to do that,or is that a 185/250 cfm type comp.? |
||
murf | 03-02-2009 | reply profile send pm notify |
It does work, but is a bit slow, depending on line size and length. Its more of an emergency thing to use this, the compressor on the truck is not built for continual use. If u fit an outlet to your system then you must use valves to ensure you dont loose all the air, this can lead to loss of pto on certain machines and brakes on some japanese trucks, when the air builds up again it can damage the pto by trying to reselect. Can save you a boom set though!!!! |
