I would have to say that 95% of my pumping is residential either footings or walls. Now I run a 2007 Putz mounted on a Mack. I run the tranny in 9th gear and at about 1200 on the tach. I usually set the volume at 2 1/2 or 3 depending on what truck I have. ( My company owns their own mixers which are mobiles and not drums ). If I get 2 trucks my volume is at about 3 1/2 to 4. I find that at 4 the hoseman has a pretty good fight on his hands with my tip hose. I am curious as to what others run at. I am comfortable with this speed and my concern is knocking buddy off the wall if I try to "pump up the volume". |

i run a putz 52-5 here in the uk and it depends on the concrete and what size hose ive got on the end of the boom the outher day the concrete was so strong about a 50 slump the volume was on number 3 and the boom was still bouncing around so now i set the volume so the pump and boom are happy no staling or bouncing |
