I am curious as to what pumpers around michigan are making per hour. I have been running a 2002 36m schwing  for four months with no raise from finisher rate.  I do all aspects of concrete. Just wondering how much more valuble i am now .  And help is appreciated

You are only as good as the last job you did

Yes been running it since late october. Still learning the ropes no doubt about it. But seems like quite a lot to think about and risk with no incentive behind it. Dont get me wrong i love pumping and dont want to do anything else. just curious what pump operators make an hour.  I was already making decent money as a finisher

I would imagine that a good concrete finisher would earn very close to the same wage as an experienced pump operator in most places. Both joss have there own responsibilities and skill requirements.  Having both skill sets doesn't neccesarrily mean you are worth any more money you are just worth that much to more people.

Four months experience is not a lot. At four months I'm not even sure I would let you out on your own yet

It also surprises me that most employees quickly forget who taught them and gave them a chance, who put up with them while learning ect. It seems once they can finally do the job they figure they are entitled to more. And they demand the same wages as someone with many years experience and loyalty.

I think you should focus more on the job at hand rather than how much your getting paid. Unless its under $15.00 / hour I wouldnt be worried

On your side of the state 15 to 18 is probably all you are going to get.  You need to know what you are operating, its a 34 meter.  The dutch are not very free with their monies.  The cost of pumping is as cheap as it gets in your neck of the woods.

Yeah , I just looked at your profile .. You have a 34 meter schwing pictured. Those are nice pumps, but not a 36 meter.

here is a 36 meter :

Perkins is right. Also the outriggers on an older 36 are bigger than the ones in the pic. Az the 36 u r showing is a newer style 36. Which does look more like a 34. I don't think aching made a roll n fold 2002 36. They just stared making the 36 rf again
