You referring to a Reed with Watz pump kit or a straight Watz  pump?

REED used to mount Waitzinger Boom pumps on MR Macks in their Chino, California facility before the big meltdown.  They made the switch to an Asian manufacturer in late 2008, but it was too little too late.

I bought what I believe to be the last Waitzinger they mounted.  It was a 42 meter with a 5 section Antonelli Z boom.  I was very impressed with the design.  (Good ol' German engineering)  I had a choice of a 4 section R&F  as well, but for the same money....I took the Z. Laughing   It was what I'd call an 'old-school' design.  Built very well, but heavy by todays standards, but I think it is a 30 year pump, much like the Schwings of Olde....  There were no exotic electronics or computers on it, so it is relatively easy to troubleshoot and work on.  Duane Remus @ REED is an ACE at telephone troubvleshooting.  If you have any questions, give them a call, talk to Duane (Engineering/service), Mike Newcomb (Sales/Marketing), Paul Sulman (Sales) or Mike Wickstrom (Service) or Jim Shea (Owner)  (click their link on the left side of the page)

I find it interesting, that after the  Sany-Putz and Schwing-XMGC marriage, Liebherr decided to enter the market with the acquisition of Waitzinger. Of course, for Liebherr it is only the last piece of the puzzle, since they already have everything else in their program.

Go to www.waitzinger.de

the first paragraph reads as follows:

The Liebherr Group has taken over the Neu-Ulm concrete pump Waitzinger. The contracts were on 19 October 2012 by managing director of Liebherr mixing technology GmbH, Bad Schussenried, and Waitzinger Construction GmbH, Neu-Ulm, signed.

With the acquisition of Waitzinger Liebherr completed its product range in the field of concrete technology. The Waitzinger Construction was founded in 1991 and today in New Ulm nearly 60 employees. The company specializes in the development and manufacture of concrete pumps, trailer-mounted concrete pumps, truck mixers and concrete pumps. From now on these products through the worldwide sales and service organization by Liebherr are sold.
