Best way to manage washout 

Now the beauty of using a good ball valve pump is making up a big candy cane hook.  Hook it on the hopper of the mixer truck and let him wash into the pump.  Then the pump washes back into the mixer. Run paper or sponge though the system and break down.  Might be a gallon of rock left in pump manifold , just rake it out into a bucket and go home.
