Really strange problem the other day with a cifa 24 combi pump. I never drove this machine before. The remote didn't want to activice. I was looking for half an hour for what the problem could be but nothing was wrong.. Getting desperate..

Seemed out there was a second remote in the cab that was also switched on. It was hidden under some clothes.. Go figgure..

no way :)). i did drive that pump a day befor. that secound remote did not work. maybe when you sarch for the contro box you done someting. because second remote had no bateri on ,only that remote siting on right side had bateri on and work. on cifa  on remote is many ting that you must have in mind. for exampel: if is turn off and accedentaly you turn on pump button and after you try to trurn on remote is not working

I checked all these things.. You know Gaby. Now I remember.. You showed me a few things on that pump that morning and I think one of us switched on that remote.. Than later I put my stuff in the cab and my jacket end on top of it.

Thing is I didnt know there was 2 identical looking remotes on that pump. Normaly the spare remote is very different. Less buttons or even cabel steering and mostly clean and unused. This where 2 used remotes that were completely identical..

Never mined.. It worked out ok. It was a sh't day anyway. First the customer wants me to set up on a 20 degrees steep hill. When I tell him that doesn't work he gets pissed and sais if I can't do it he will send me away and they have to send another pump.. Very bad way to start a day with me.. No mater what happens after that my day is f*cked up!! Than this thing with the remote. Than the next truck drives to the wrong buildingsite.. Waited for 3 hours before he finaly arrived. Etc Etc..

But hey.. I survived, Its weekend and monday is a new day Wink

Did you set up on the steep hill?

I found a solution at the end.. Was standing on quite a steep place but better than the first place and mannaged to jack it up so it was quite straight.. But it was on the edge of comfort..

Dont stick your neck out,not worth it.If you are "forced" to set up outside of your comfort zone ,think again.Go home.....period
