Water Box Level?

I was reading a post about how it is not good to fill your box above the diff cyls. I have always filled my little trailer pumps water box plum full. Now my oil is a little hazy, and at the end of the day the water in my box is discolored as well. Needless to say now I fill it below the diff cyls. My question is are my cyl packings or wipers bad now? or was the water just getting in there from the temp change and friction. I am thinking about changing the oil and keeping the water low, to see if my hazy oil returns. What do ya guys think?

Repack your cylinders, change your oil, fill your boxes up all the way, and just be certain to dump them after each job (yes even if you do two a day with time inbetween), rinse the boxes out at the end of the day. And don't leave them full overnight.

Red man typesdubs is right on the head remember to not leave the water box full overnight and make sure you drain the bottom off of the hydraulic tank weekly .
