We are a wet cast facility and use Coleco form work to pour box culvert and Con Span Bridge units. I have been asked to investigate ways of getting the concrete into our forms quicker. We pour inside as well as outside so the use of a large pump truck is not feasible. I am looking into concrete pump trailers.We pour a self compacting slag-protland blend using 3/4 aggregate, with a spread of 500-700mm. I have heard of operations similar to ours that pump the concrete into the form by way of a valve at the bottom of the form.We currently dump the concrete into a hopper and deliver it to the form work by way of lift truck (outside) and crane ( inside). I would be interested in any information that you might have in assisting our operation.
