how many m3 can be pumped with new wear plate and wear ring untill need to be changed ?we are using the original parts.

we just changed one out today on a 16 cell machine (83" stroke/9" diameter barrels), original Putz parts., and it had about 45000 M3 through it. Probably could have gotten another 15000 out of it if the wear ring had been rotated at least once. I would say most of the mixes in our area are fairly "buttery" and easy on wear parts. Hope this helps to give you an idea...

42 m putz model 2009 ,and all of the mixes we are using with slump more than 180 mm and the common class we are using is c30

use untill cuttin ring is about worn out, you will know it when getting ball back as it will blow alot of air out hopper.but dont wait to long after that to replace or it will start rock packing in the transition.

It should say in the manual somewhere that you should rotate the cutting ring 90 degrees every XX,000 yards/m3.  This will make it last quite a while.

If you keep it rotated and adjusted, I've had them outlast the boom pipe by quite a bit.

mine were changed this month after 4years en 5 months and about 60.000m³ ( first sings of needing to change is that if you pump long distance (high pressure) you will get stuck in the first reduction allready because you loose your grouth back into the hopper and the stones go on without it.

i changed from 5 month ago and i think maybe it pumped about 20,000m3

I am getting well over 100,000 yards thru mine and I rotate them every 10,000 yds or so,Now that is carbide not the flamecut.
