I was on a job 2 yrs ago-----Residential, Hard had safety vest glasses required. Wore it all got in the pump and moved it to the washout spot. Got out of the pump and forgot to put my hard hat on when I got out. The Super jumped my shit and threw me off the job---He was in shorts flip flops and a tank-----what a power trip he was on. Only thing he had on was his hard hat. He was the man! |

Wear it and keep knocking. |

Give some guys a little bit of authority and it goes strait to their heads! I once saw an all out brawl because the super of a 10 lot residential project walked out and CUT the end off of the foundation guys power cord in the middle of a pour! He said it was not grounded or too small to run the vibrator? Still dont give you the right to ruin a guys cord! That same super tried to ding us (the pump company) for every single crack in the side walks and approaches of the whole development. It just so happened that I noticed some bad cracks in the concrete before I set up there so I snapped a couple pictures for this very occasion! When my boss had a sit down with the builder and showed them the pictures their "Super" super got Fired!!! |
