we only had 3 trips to the emergency room, about 20 cuts, one poke in the eye and it was 112 so we had some heat sickness and two people caught a water bug and got really sick throwing up and stuff. Over all it was good, 90 kids and about 10 adults. We had an 8’ camp fire going and one kid jumped threw it and it burned all his hair off his head and arms. You know just normal camp type stuff. We had a nurse come with us. When I brought up safety issues they told me I was too old. I guess they are right. I am 45. The poor nurse was the Youth Leaders mom. Two of the trips to the emergency room came from tube wares were 4 or more people get on tubes behind a boat and the last one on a tube wins. They would kick and punch while doing 25 mph on a tube.

Well they don’t call it safety camp. They call it Youth Camp but they should call it I hope you make it back camp
