everything was going oh so good untill an air pocket magicly found its way it to the system. see all the glass... an oiler charged to the custumer should be manditory if the operator is not on the same floor as the pump! thank god no one was hurt. |

It doesn't matter how short the stick is, it's what you can do with it that counts. Sweet pics! |

hey pedro, for primeing my pipe, i use very little water and prime a little faster then i would pump a wall, a stroke every three seconds and always watch my pressure. i find its 50-50 to make it past the 5-4 reduser with big rock (25mm+). i very lucky cause i get alot of small rock, high mpa mixes(14mm rock, 35mpa) i remember the quebecers in edmonton always juise a 25mpa 25mm crushed rock load, bitch about the boney load and id plug in a roll in fold. so i started using less prime water. when priming and sucking backing folded up, i try and keep my 1 -2 - 3 sections as horizontal as possible. i also suck a spong back pretty slow with a pail of water. in the pic i'm pumping out my hoppper at the end. in that situation i prime into my hopper, and circulate for a minute. have the drop hose over the mixer shute and there's no splater which means no bitching from the mixer. Is that a Saskatchewan Plateon your rig? When did A&B setup a shop there and did they go with Alliance with all their new pump? if so, alliance did pretty good in the Prairies. Hows the Alliance 32z5 working for you? |

Man you sure are taking alot of the "hard part" out of alot of line jobs! I like the blow-back into the mixer. I would have been to tempted to stick my tip hose in the bay and sucked her back!.. Nah, would'nt want any salt-water in that sweetheart pump! ha,ha... Pump-On S.S.! |

A & B sent me out here in May. Its been pretty good i'm from saskatoon so it was nice to move home. They still buy more concords. But we are seeing more alliances around the shop. That 5 section i run is really great but i think i would prefer the concord. my section set up is really awkward when you need to pump close to the cab.

thx for the comment. tiago - astra is in greater vancouver and the fraser valley, bc. the owner of astra is portuguese aswell as alot of employees. T.T. - fisherries office is next door. I'd love to hear what they'd have to say, HaHa as long as i dont poison the water and kill the fish. |
