I would like to throw this out there. I would take suggestions on what equipment and parts to carry in the pump. I have read Lee Hortons article on Electrical Systems where he suggest several tools and stuff, I would like to go beyond that and see what suggestions you have. We are a small pump company with no mechanic so we need to be the operator and mechanic. So any input would greatly be appreciated.thanks MikeThis message was edited by Todd on 2-1-06 @ 6:49 AM |

Man, all that extra stuff and then I would have no where to store all my rain gear and most importantly my lucnch box...The guy above me pretty much said it all, and depending on where you work, as sad as it is you will want to lock up your tools....even your hammersalways have plenty of sponges, you never know |

First hope all have safe and HAPPY HOLIDAYS. Manufacturer (REED PUMPS) pretty well supplied me with most things need, hoses, electrical parts etc. But I do carry air hose(hooked to truck air tank) for low tires to get to or back from job. Also air chipping hammer for those long drawn out pours to chip edges of hopper, beats hammer and bar. As far as sugar, I carry bags of retarder(same size as primer bags) They work great at slowing set, but doesnt affect concrete if still use , just sets up slower. Have used them when concrete on job and pour delayed lengthy time. |
