Was there ever a point that someone suggested "maybe theres a safer way?" I think these pictures should be seen by everyone in the concrete industry. I had heard the mixer could become electricly charged but these are the first pics that I have ever seen proving it. Im glad that no one was hurt seriously.

Well thats true. We had a near miss some years back where during the right conditons the power jumped some 20 plus feet ( but the wind and rain played a large part) mixer drivers pants caught on fire, several tires melted quarter size holes from a split second arch. No one hurt. On this pic I gotta admit it's another pump out of the market. Hope no one was hurt. Good to see another ole 42M outta the market.

Bob,that has to be one of the finest illistrations of what can happen I believe I have seen.The blessing here is no fatality and minor injuries.There are so many questions I would have,I wouldn't know where to start.ShortBus was that L/R outigger extended on that pad?.

two cranes ,big cutting tourch!flatbed truck hauled off , rumer has it.frame got so hot hopper fell to ground.
