All of the bad fourtune of our buisness is not Entirely because of the way pump owners ran their buisnesses the economy is a big to do in all of it but not the whole reason. In my opinion concrete pumping is the most dangerous, most understood, most dangerous, most high pressure (on men.machines.and owners) did I say dangerous? profession there is. That's my opinion. there is to make it work at any cost. You guys know what I'm talking about. Why do we all not realize the huge value of a safe skilled operator and give the biggest kuddos to a pump owner that sets limits on his machines and backs his operators 110 percent no matter what? We are the pumps are like gold we need to ask for better and if someone wants it cheaper or riskier hand them a wheelbarrow. |

I dont think it will ever happen. Even when there was plenty of work for all some just had to try and get it all, even if they lost some on the deal. There are certain elements with in the industry who will try to force out the competition any way they can so, they be the only game in town. This isnt only true in our industry but, in others as well. But I believe ours suffers the most from it. |

Just a pumper your spot on. I just don't understand why more of our brothers haven't comented on this. Were all in this together for the money. That's it. Plain and simple. The owners are Todd is. It's great to have a forum to talk about pumping but when the industry is in the toilet I'd think more guys would talk about the reality of it. We are all into it for the money. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt that. |
