If I remember right, I think they are former mixer drivers.

youre right dieselman as i do, i drive concrete truck before i switch to pump operator, a great challege "watch, ask and finally you'll learn"

My opinion would be guys who started with companies with not so great equiment. Only because i believe learning the hard way makes you smarter.

they come from experience,lots of it,never met a great operator that did not have years of experience,to me the best operators are the ones that never quit learning,and aren't to stubborn are afraid to try something new,I have been doing this a little while and I learn new things everyday ,the day I stop learning will be the day I retire

They come from deep within the Bowels of A Line-Pump! Any old line-pump. A kid thats been drag'n hose for 3 years thats where it starts. Too many dudes out here that aint line-pumped long enough to know whats going on in their boompipe.

In Europe We linepump with  boompumps or pumpmixers...Like Mr Wibau with "KingKong" !

And some of us have learn from that !

Aint u the guy that layd the pump down for a sleep while u were washing it out?????? Maybe u breeding a pump operator would be a bad thing until u learned to practice a bit more lol hahahahaha
