We're talk'n Greatly expanded, longterm profits. When the equip. is paid off and needs no up-grades. and the market does'nt require more or bigger pumps. Where should they invest? Buy themselves fancy cars & new harleys or perhaps a time-share in Mexico to send our already satisfied customers. Or should they give deserved operators/employees raises and supply our customers with some real nice Carhart coats and x-mas gifts to show our appriciation? this aint multiple choice, open to suggestions. |

I have heard of longterm debt but not longterm profit. You sound like you are taking it out a whole new door. I would just keep doing what you are doing till someone makes you stop. The biggest challenge we all face is TOMORROW. ;~) |

Leroy, there aint to many things sweeter than a new Harley! but as an operator I'd suggest the raises and customer appriciation stuff, and the Mexico gig but only if deserved employees/operator get to go aswell! What ever it is dont drop your price$ to get more work, to get more pumps! you'll never get off that merry-go-round. They'll end up with a smaller profit margin than ever! and realize one of the most benifitial things for a company to have is happy employees!!!(alotta outfits forget that these days) I got a feel'n the question ya posted is gonna draw alotta "pump salesmen" (ha ha). but build the demand...then supply it. Allthough... a new pump IS one of the few things sweeter than a new Harley-Davison... pump-on! |

your operators are the ones in the trenches doing the work,so maybe a nice end of the year bonus in profitable years,if you increase hourly earnings you will have problems in the slow times, bonuses are the way to go,if its there they (operators)get one,if its not they will know because work will be slow or they will know if you have had major expenses within your company, this will also help with your taxes at the end of the year |
