There is alot of pumps and everyone can't start with new iron. We just purchased a reconditioned 1998 36 meter  Putz. How long can we expect it to last? Is anyone running super old equipment?

This is it ? Four old pumps ? Who is running the 1970 Chuck Parish? I would beleave that testimonials of the performance of these machines. Would open the door for possible buyers?

I operate a 1990 Schwing KVM 32M. And it pumps just as well as our new ones. I have no complaints. My opinion is that if you take care of your equiptment and replace everything as soon as it is broken it will last.

I have both a 32 and 42 meter Schwing in my fleet, both 1991 models, they both go out everyday.  The 32 pumps house slabs but the 42 only does commercial work, big slabs, panels and bridge decks that it will reach.  We also have alot of brand new equipment but these units are the most profitable.

Thanks for the response. I am surprised that the 80'S is as old as it gets. It is probably difficult to get parts. 

we have a '66-'67 model squeezie line pump that goes out every and all day, may not pump the metres that the pistons do but fills an invoice book quicker.

I have a thompsen/putz 2065. The control panel is thompsen, the trailer has a putz tag. The serial # on the Putz tag is 000000000000000001. Putz told me they don't have many records from that period, but odds are I have the first putzmeister thom kat. By the way, it runs lake a top, and has pumped every mix I've thrown at it!!

Saw a couple of 1977 Schwing 28 meters for sale. That is a pretty old truck. Good luck trying to sell them!
