Concerned if it could be a hazard.  Might pressure build and force it out.  Sharp projectile.  Just wondering how well it works

Never had a problem just make sure you take it out b4 resuming pumping its gr8 when moving the boom over things u cant get dirty or when you gotta get the crete tested put the trowl in and move to the test spot take it out close to the ground so it piles up that way it doesnt mess up the air intrainment it really helps and its cheep.

Can't say as I've used that method with rubber, but it works great with a pipe. Only problem I've seen is when a too much concrete falls down the pipe, the trowel bends slightly and can be a bear to get out. I wouldn't try it with rubber, but no problem with a tremmie.
