so what is plan B how about buying a dump truck that way you can be a gear shy of a full transmission ha ha. no really the first thing i was told at 37 was she did not want me to sell real estate because some fifty year old woman would need more than RE service, damm iam hot. its a no win situation and if they nice looking , good luck replacing them because the rest of them are just table scraps ha ha.

Pumping concrete is very inconvient! I have often compared it to crab fishing. You have to go when the season is open. You can make a lot of money in a short amount of time. I have worked with guys in the same boat as you. My wife has never given me a hard time about working! (Thank God) She understands this is what I do! If you have a choice, Go to school or Get a better job. If you don't have a choice, Pumping concrete is a good alternative! Always remember! Nobody wins from ultimatums!

Good Luck

well i'll tell u  what my boss told me, wich by the way latley  i've been sticking to: i got 3 things in my life ,god, work and my family, and in that order, cause god is always first, and without work i wont be able to support a family".if she loves u she'll understand and she doesnt ,well good luck.

I would always put family before work but if she wants to leave with you pumping chances are pumping isn't the problem next month it'll be something else, everyone is different but if it was me if I really thought changing jobs would save my marriage(family) I would have to give it a try concrete pumping will be there makesure your family is to,your decision but I really dont think your job is the problem maybe both need to look in the mirror and see what yall want and if your job is the real problem if it is so long concrete pumping, just my opinion

pluggin up tip to tail all day,  a bossy hoseman,  a cranky superintendent at 12:00 a.m., or a hopper full of rock hard concrete.....nothing compares to how difficult marriage is.   two people trying to act and live as one is tough.  im with pudg  God, family then work.  on my time off which is sometimes very limited i try to spend it with my family.  i got a great wife and four kids and it can get tough to please everyone at times but everything in life is a compromise.  i got out of pumping for about 4 years and tried some different things but here i am back in the game.  i always heard that once this stuff is in your blood you can never get out.   good luck....dont forget she is always right. just nod and say yes dear and walk away

On another note I dont play yes dear anymore. Pushing 40 now I am SET in my ways. I was pumping when I met her and I will pump when she leaves.

life is short for some marriage can be tough but if you love each other you can work it out i've been married for 23 years we have our problems but when it comes to work she doesnt go there often when she does i just remind her of all she has is because of my job, Family comes first then work even with my boss and his family so im pretty good that way

Substitute the word "PUMP" for fish- same problem

;~)

Well I love her
But I love to fish
I spend all day out on this lake
And hell is all I catch
Today she met me at the door
Said I would have to choose
If I hit that fishin' hole today
She'd be packin' all her things
And she'd be gone by noon

Well I'm gonna miss her
When I get home
But right now I'm on this lakeshore
And I'm sittin' in the sun
I'm sure it'll hit me
When I walk through that door tonight
That I'm gonna miss her
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite

Now there's a chance that if I hurry
I could beg her to stay
But that water's right
And the weather's perfect
No tellin' what I might catch today

Well I'm gonna miss her
When I get home
But right now I'm on this lakeshore
And I'm sittin' in the sun
I'm sure it'll hit me
When I walk through that door tonight
That I'm gonna miss her
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite

Yeah, I'm gonna miss her
Oh, lookie there, I've got a bite

It is very important to live by one's own labour. Find the new wife. There are a lot of fine girls who will estimate your work. For example among the Eastern Slavs.

I've been married 16 years and pumping 20 years, but my wife understands thats what puts food on the table,we have problems just like everyone else but she understands the demands that this job has,if you have kids theres more to it than just her so you have to consider the kids to,I pump and still find time to have a life plus coach my oldest daughters softball and basketball teams theres not much time for rest but I'll spend eternity laying down so I do what I have to do to spend as much time with them as I can, life is short and if you or her aren't happy I would try whatever it took to make each other happy or let her walk pumping isn't forever family is,and if god is in the picture he would tell you family always comes before money(work),so if you love your wife as much as you love pumping nobody can make this decision but you,if you let her go shes gone for good if you try another job and she still leaves pumping will always be there everybody is always looking for good operators,Good luck

By the way................

I was looking at your profile page and noticed a BIG problem. It is about the photo of the fish.

All of the red drum you catch you can keep UNLESS they have black spots on their tails.

All red fish that have those spots are reserved. I put those spots on selected drum to denote that they are reserved for ME. In the future, if you accidently catch one while looking for specks please either throw it back (in good condition) or clean, freeze and ship it to ME, its rightful owner.............. thanks. ;~)
