Fairly new to the bussiness just started running a unit in july now that it's cold out [in WI.] things seem to clean up ok without a heavy oiling. Is anybody skipping oiling in the winter,or am I getting into a wrong routine? thanks terry

The only thing about sub zero weather that is cool!!! It all will wash off at 33 degrees!! You must always oil !!  I have been using waste fry-o-lator oil ? It works and it is FREEEE!!! Dave JR Rocks!!!

ALWAYS OIL.  If you are using a tank heater things are decieving.  Hot water helps to break down cement.  Don't be lazy.  T'ing into the aggitator circuit works best (plenty of pressure to push cold oil) b/c straight oil doesn't wash off as easily.  When the weather turns cold and there are no envir. issuses and diesel fuel if the boss is stingey.  If env. problems use veg. based product, but it makes a sticky mess.  Always use straight oil inside hopper and backsplash and tarp the rest.  Don't let R-M spray their water in the hopper!
