When ordering a pump, what are the decisions that are needed to be made? Do you buy the boom to fit the truck, do you buy the truck and fit the boom. Do you put a Putzmeister on a Mack, or a Sany on an Autocar? Is the truck and boom complete when you buy it? I know it varies the size of the truck on the size of the boom, but are certain booms made with certain trucks?

putz bought 200 macks at the first of the year so i would imagine they will do it their way. they also have reconditioning prices to give you a concept of they charge for paint.

You can order it any way you want.  If you call the pump people they will try to put you in a chassis they have in stock.  The market preference is Mack.  However, I feel the Condor chassis is more suited for the operator.

You can purchase a chassis and have it delivered to the pump manufacturer, but I would suggest you ask the pump manufacturer to send you the necessary specs so it comes in and they can mount the pump without any real problems.  You would most likely get the best deal by purchasing it all from the pump manufacturer as a package.  But you don't have to settle for one particular chassis or pump.

No one makes both.

I dont remember seeing spinners on your truck TooTall. All I remember is the viking....so maybe you start with decals then everything else after that.    ;)
