All of the managers that are going , is your company paying the way or are you having to foot the bill ? I have been considering it but with the economy and everything I hate to spend that much money on a trip without my kids involved. I have been in this industry a long time and have always wanted to go but always found a reason not to or have covered others jobs so they could go. I think the company should pay not for partying or anything just for flights and a room , I also believe you could send your "operator of the year" as a reward for being safe, on time ,just my opinion what do you all think ?

The economic reality has set in. Many companies that used to pay for travel & hotels for their troops have decided that the money is not there to spend. Maybe next year will be better times.
