I was not talking about the size of the pump ordered, but rather the number of pumps ordered.

I got to see the new 65m set up and watch the boom go thru' its tricks. Nice boom, I really liked the 125mm pipe!!!

I am with you there. The Jun-Jin people make a good machine. Alliance had (like everyone does) some start-up problems, like no spare parts or service. I don't think that the Koreans view service in the same light as the more Americanized manufactures; perhaps they will over time, who knows. Concord was like that when they first started. They are better now. Schwing probably does the best Factory Direct support with their 'stores'. Putz has also gotten with the program and is taking very good care of their customers.

The thing that bothers me about both of the Canadian Mfg's is their refusal to have a FACTORY store in the US. They are tucked way in the exact furthest point on the continent from good ole Hot-lanta. Lots of folks here feel the same way, they feel like 'step-children' customers, or would be customers.

And yea, you are 100% correct. All any of us have is opinions.  ;~)

Hey Joe. For some reason you looked the same................................... maybe older, what is up with that??

The 65m was sweet. I have never seen a machine that was as 'clutter free' as that bad boy. Even a fat-ass like me could turn wrenches on that. EVERYTHING was easy access.

hey bob..when you write "The thing that bothers me about both of the Canadian Mfg's is their refusal to have a FACTORY store in the US"

in fact alliance have opened  a "branch" in the usa...i would say the same thing with the "big two" in canada about the spare part...we have lived with many delay here in montreal with schwing....concord and alliance are not better or worst!! it just depend often of your location!! personaly we have no problem with alliance when ordering parts....usualy the shipping is verry fast!!

ups & Fedex shorten the time between points, but add greatly to the cost. All things considered Schwing probably has the cheapest parts, nation wide.

bob...it depend on your location most of the time..however i"m not agree that schwing have the lower cost on spare parts...in fact for us it was the opposite,

I heard they coulden't get the number of pumps they were looking for from S_____g, and P_________r gladly took up the slack and commited to the pumps........

Schwing commited to filling the original order, but when the order was increased they could not, so Putzmeister said they would gladly take up the slack, and the rest is history!
