What are you gonna use it for?
Would rather use a Putz Pin-pour (look in the video section) or strap on a Belgian traffic cone with alot of gaffa...

Is the idea that it pivots out and back so as to stop the flow as and when the hose man needs it?  If so then you are back to the rule about metal on the end of the hose.

If its just a basic stopper for the end of the pipe then something along the lines of a drain bung/stopper would be better as you wouldnt have to modify the hose

Sorry guys thought it was self explanatory. 4" drip cap for a one ended hose. I used it today and it worked great. Had to hit it one time with the hammer and Todd I don't turn the pump on when I got a drip cap on. Just because Brundage Bone didn't make it don't mean it doesn't work.

I WISH I HAD A PICTURE TO SEND WE CUT A SLIT IN THE SIDE OF OUR 5 TO 3 HOSE UP ABOUT 3" FROM THE END ABOUT 2.5 INCHES LONG AND JUST SLIDE A S/S PUTTY KNIFE IN TO STOP THE DRIBBLE WORKS GREAT

DOES IT STAY ONE THE HOSE ALL THE TIME OR ONLY IF YOU NEED IT? IF SO HOW DO YOU KEEP IT FROM FLIPPING DOWN?

looks like it could have been a great thought but the metal on the end bothers me as well.but i have seen the air cuff malfunction and other stuff tried ,i still like like going to old fashion way especially with fiber hoses these days.it only takes a tie wire halo and bend the hose pertty idiot proof.bend it hook it and roll totallly safe

a customer got me to do what sdpumper is talking about. works great on columns, however we found that using a mason trowel cut to the right size worked better because it was more rigged and wouldnt get stuck in the hose. Got to put duct tape over the hole the rest of the time or its spits creamy water all over your hosemans legs. safe, cheap, easy, and almost idiot proof
