WP500 has a 3 position switch on the remote which changes the pump from for/nue/rev.BP500 only has an on/off switch on the remote, the forward or reverse is accuated by a lever on the main block. |

Oh, thanks. It looks like they are a longer machine? I was thinking maybe they had a longer stroke. I'm thinking of setting my son up with a line pump business in the Citys (MN). Kind of torn between a B30 @ 4600 lb but has no aggitator, or a WP 500 @ 6900LB. I wonder how they would tow with a 3/4 ton pick up. Or if i need such a big pump for small jobs. |

well your 3/4 ton is probably about as heavy or lighter than the pump is so it will be tough on the truck I would imagine |

Yeah i'm just used to my little 305 Schwing i travel all over a 150 mile area no problem, even pull it with a 1/2 ton pick up. Really i have only had maybe 3-4 jobs that i could have used a larger pump most my jobs are under 25 yards. I do pump 3/4" minus through 2.5" hose.. yes its true. I would have to buy the truck also. With gas prices so high i'm trying to keep the weight down. Yeah i would like the altimate mounted custom model some day perhaps. One ton diesel chevy all tricked out with a pump mounted on the back. |

Yes those are words of wisdom. Why use a 13lb Mallet when a 16 oz works.. |
