I have to agree fully Mudslinger. Pressurewasher with a steamer would have done it safely. One company I worked for had two guys on a trailer pump dicking off when air blowing and, the one held up the last pipe while the other put the air on full blast. They wanted to see how far the sponge would go. Well the helper got bumped in the nuts good and, the sponge hit a car on the freeway, which was close to the job. Needles to say both were fired. |

Longest running tag on the vid says "Irresponsible Operators". I'd change that to "Irresponsible Mechanics". Could have killed somebody. That wasn't just dangerous, that was deadly. |

Totally makes my blood boil. This could have ended up so bad. I'm really thankful that it didn't. As soon as I started watching I thought OMG this is going to be bad. They should bring back public floggings for people like this. I'm sure these kind of acts were why people got tarred and feathered back in the day LOL !!!!
HEY MUDDYFEET The name of that song is 3 DOORS DOWN " LIFE ON MY OWN" |

I too am guilty back in the old days. Salvaged many a pipe this way. Not reccommended. Water pressure is now the way its done. |

Todd. this is the direct result of a poorly managed company, lacking in the basics of proper training. this type of irresponsebility to safety and common sense is what happens when a company pushes out their top guys and hire nominds to run the show. |

Yep! At least they had it bolted down instead of 3 guys standing on the pipe bomb! One of my many lessons learned the hard way. |

The guys doing the work should have been let go after a stunt like that, and the supervisor/company supplying the equipment to produce "the big bang" should have been strapped to chairs directly in front of the concrete slug... Darwin's theory of Natural Selection! No more problems in the future that way! |
