47-METER OPTION ADDED TO SCHWING LINE-UP 2000

Customers can now order two more meters of boom length on their Schwing S45SX concrete pumps. The new 47-meter option adds versatility to the standard S45SX by extending the horizontal reach to 141-feet and vertical reach to 154-feet. All of the standard features that have made the S45SX popular among concrete pumping contractors and ready-mix producers are still offered with the new boom option.

The most distinguishing feature of the 47-meter boom pump is the curved front outriggers that telescope into the chassis to provide X-style stabilizers. This method of stabilizer deployment provides advantages over swing-out style outriggers when job-site obstructions exist. The entire boom assembly rotates 380 degrees on a heavy-duty slewing gear bearing. Boom pipe is 5-inch diameter for the first three boom sections. The fourth section carries 4-1/2-inch pipe. The rigid torsion subframe provides stability in all boom positions.

Boom movement is controlled by digital proportional radio remote. Schwing's exclusive Spread Spectrum radio assures interference-free operation by hopping multiple frequencies every second to provide the best transmission possible. The receiver is mounted in a weather-tight box on the pump with easy access.

The full range of Generation III concrete pump kits is offered in the 47SX. The all-hydraulic, twin cylinder pump is capable of outputs to 213 cubic yards per hour. MPS is the proven sequencing system that times the shifting of the patented Rock Valve with the material cylinders to produce extremely quiet, smooth operation.
